Continuing on our meditation at the Garden of Gethsemane, the authors of the synoptic gospels throw quite a bit of information about the happenings on that particular night -Mt 26:36-46, Mk:14:2-42 & Lk 22:39-46 . Graphic details are represented by them (if you get a chance please read at least one passage). The sweat being dropped as blood is one significant and proven miracle. The emotional and spiritual aspect is of much importance. All the three authors mention about Jesus being in ‘deep sorrow’ (unfathomable grief). When this kind of sorrow, mingles in the spiritual realm the outcome is unbearable physical pain. Christ stood his ground to save humankind. Even when he asked his three associates to sit and watch they fell asleep. Dear child of God, during this lent are we able to stand firm to our convictions. As you stand at the station remember you are called for a special need by the savior. Are you ready?

Pray: Dear Lord I know I’ve nothing extra ordinary in me to proclaim your word but I just want to say I’m ready and available. AMEN
